National Payroll Week was established in the UK by The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) in 1998, dedicated to recognising and celebrating the crucial role that payroll professionals play in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
The event serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about the payroll process, financial literacy, and the overall importance of fair compensation within the workforce.
Over 20 years later, National Payroll Week 2025 is promised to be bigger and better than ever!
