Melbourne, Victoria – Frontier Software, a leading provider of global HR and Payroll software solutions, is giving back to the Melbourne community with a donation to The Salvation Army Project 614.

The Salvation Army Melbourne Project 614 provides support by supplying meals, clothing and counselling and also works with clients to help create pathways out of their current state of marginalisation. These pathways include training, volunteering, employment and accommodation options.

The donation will go towards one of the programs that are under the Project 614 umbrella; Coffee Van, Community Hub, Community Shed, Concierge, Hospitality Kitchen, Lighthouse Café, Magpie Nest Housing, The Marketplace, Physiotherapy, Pop-up Shop, Primary Health Nurse, Social Enterprise Warehouse, Youth Street Teams, Women's Worker, and Sunday Worship.

Founder, Michael Howard, says that it was a unanimous decision to donate to a cause which is in the heart of Melbourne city.

'Our office is in Little Collins Street. To ignore the problem is not something you can do when it is, quite often, literally on our doorstep. Looking into the charities that support the homeless in Melbourne, we felt Project 614's work resonated. The depth and breadth of their work, and their respect for human dignity is inspiring.'
